Legal Receptionist

What we do: Our Mission is to empower our community by providing client focused service, one car crash at a time. We help our (injured) clients find medical care and we work with insurance adjusters to get our clients compensated for their medical bills and injuries. Insurance companies are corporate giants that we sometimes have to fight with to get justice for our clients. If you can serve up a good argument, you’re going to love this job.

General Duties

  • Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
  • Answer high-volume calls and route them appropriately
  • Manage front desk operations and maintain an organized reception area
  • Schedule consultations and meetings for attorneys and staff
  • Log and track voicemails and client messages for follow-up
  • Open and sort mail, scan and file incoming documents
  • Monitor and manage general firm inbox
  • Assist with new client intake process and distribute intake forms
  • Provide updates to clients on appointment times and general case status when approved
  • Handle time-sensitive legal documents with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support attorneys and case managers with administrative needs as requested

  • Guided by general procedures and professional norms
  • Periodic checks on accuracy, quality, and timeliness of outcomes

Complexity and Problem Solving

  • Must find solutions to modestly technical or operational problems
  • Solutions generally resolved using conventional or standard procedures

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 30-minute lunch break

Job Type

  • Full time
  • Expected hours: 40 per week

Salary

  • $20/hr – $25/hr (DOE)
